Mexican Burrito Cantina

Mexican approved Just had the best taco I’ve had in Sydney so far — they even have lengua (tongue) tacos! If you’ve never tried them, please do, they won’t disappoint. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the huarache. The tortillas are the real deal — corn tortillas, of course! Staff was super friendly too. You’ll have to trust me on this one, coming from a Mexican girl always on the hunt for authentic Mexican food in Australia They also have mexican beer Si eres Mexicano ven por taquitos y una pacifico o modelo yo quería llorar de la emoción

First and foremost the lady that worked there was beyond amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for making it a great experience. The food was second to none, probably the best burrito I’ve ever had. We ordered a bunch of different food as we had a group of 8 for my sister in laws birthday. The burrito was massive, filling and tasted amazing. The nacho chips were fresh and had a very “home made taste” to them, which added to the value of the nachos. We had a salad also, it was also fresh, nice guacamole and other greens. Another dish was the naked burrito, which is essentially a burrito without the tortilla wrap, just nicely displayed on a plate. We additionally had the tacos and also some beef strips and chicken, almost like a mixed plate. Not even sure what the drinks were besides the tequila sunrise, but they were so crisp, cold and goes without saying, tasted great! Also, can’t go wrong with a mandarin jarritos! Nevertheless, all food was spectacular. Hats off to the chef! The lady was nice enough to bring us a little cake and a on the house shot for my sister in law, as it was her birthday. The atmosphere was very “homey”, which gave you vibes of eating at someone’s house. Very nice setup and the colours were so vibrant. They have a karaoke room at the top, which can be booked out for events. Overall, the experience was great, the service was great, the food was amazing and the place itself was well presented. 10/10 and will certainly be back again.

5/5 – Authentic Mexican Gem in Surry Hills! ???????? Had lunch here with the whole family and absolutely loved it. The food is incredible – rich, flavorful, and genuinely authentic, just like you’d find in Mexico. Every bite tasted like it was made with care and tradition. The atmosphere is vibrant but relaxed, perfect for a family outing. The staff were super welcoming and clearly passionate about what they serve. You can tell this place brings a little piece of Mexico right to Surry Hills. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Mexican food – not Tex-Mex, not fusion, just the real deal. We’ll definitely be back!
